The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) recently published a new version of Form I-9: Employment Eligibility Verification. Employers can continue to use the old form until April 30, 2020; however, they should become familiar with the new form and alter their hiring processes to include exclusive use of the new form by May 1, 2020.
The paper form of the I-9 has not changed, but there have been minor changes to the online fillable version.
